There should be a way to default the assigned provider(s) for a new chart upon creation. Many practices are single provider or single provider per location, so you are constantly having to manually assign the same person to every new chart. Additionally, if you want your office staff / admin to be able to communicate through the patient portal, they also must be manually added.
Having a default setting for providers to be assigned to a chart upon creation based on location would save time and prevent errors like forgetting to add the administrator / office staff to the account for messaging.
