patients should be able to see clinician calender for openings and then put in a request for an appointment for a specific open slot as shown on the calender
This will be available via an integration with TimeTap - a feature currently in QA.
Finding the right appointment slot is the most time consuming process for the front desk in our practice. There has to be a good way for them to see open slots and find one which they like. I made an appointment thru ICAN on my dummy account in the system and it showed up instantly on my portal account. Patients could be shown full calendar with available slots (similar to outlook or google calendar). Providers/ Admin will need to have some control on whether they want to opt in to this feature and which patients can take advantage (turned off by default).
